Very occasionally I find a soundsource that won't load in Omnisphere, which claims it is missing.

If it doesnt work youll at least still be able to import the patches for the time being. Save-as the file to a new filename then try again. Re: Omnisphere 2 loses state after loading project You could export the patches (when they load), to then import them (when they dont load) in a new instance. When you are prompted to locate your STEAM folder, select the correct STEAM folder. Load Omnisphere or Trilian in your DAW/host or standalone application. Within the Spectrasonics folder, delete the STEAM alias (Mac) or STEAM shortcut (Windows) you find there. Looks like I'm missing a file or something. To fix this: Follow the instructions in this post to locate your Spectrasonics folder.

You can layer up to four soundsources in a patch and 8 patches in a multi. Will the audio import in Omnisphere 2 be for single audio files or multi-samples? Omnisphere 2 supports one audio file of any length per soundsource. I feel the problem might be to do with folder locations but im not sure. I can play the default sound and that is all. Some patches will not load ( mostly Keyboard based patches ) I get the message Cannot load soundsource from directory ' Core Library' File Denoise.zmap may be missing or corrupted. Everything seems to have installed ok because the STEAM folder is 42gb therefore all the sounds should be there and they are visible in omnisphere they just wont load. I am having two problems with Omnisphere. See the instructions below to find your Spectrasonics folder.I'm a new user of Omnisphere, Trillian & RMX. Your STEAM folder is located inside your Spectrasonics folder.

When you update your patches or soundsources, you are updating files in your STEAM folder, which was created when you originally installed Omnisphere. Omnisphere is an incredibly deep synthesizer with a massive Core Library that will take a lifetime to explore The Factory Core Library of Omnisphere is over 42Gb and includes over 2700 Soundsources specifically designed to work well with the STEAM engine synthesis. Spectrasonics' site says that I should be able to receive a prompt when loading Omnisphere that guides me in relocating my STEAM folder. So, I moved Omnisphere 2's STEAM folder from my SSD (the location I specified when I installed) to my external HDD. All 4.Dll's need to be patched or Omnisphere will not work! (You also need to do it again when you UPDATE Omnisphere) When done, open your DAW (I used FL Studio) in Admin mode, Load an instance of Omnisphere 2. You also need to Patch both Omnisphere.dll files in Program Data.
